Helping asylum seekers and refugees.

Empowering new beginnings by building stronger communities.

We are North Glasgow Integration Network, a vital lifeline for asylum seekers and refugees, operating in the North East of Glasgow

Our mission is to create a bridge between these vulnerable groups and the local population, fostering a sense of belonging and empowerment for all

North Glasgow Integration Network offers a wide range of support services to those who have fled their homes due to war, persecution, or other extreme hardships.

Our team provides practical advice on navigating everyday life in Scotland, including guidance on housing, employment, benefits, and legal matters. Additionally, NGIN is a safe and welcoming space where individuals can come together, share their experiences, make friends, and support each other as they rebuild their lives.

But our work goes beyond simply offering services—we are deeply committed to promoting dignity, compassion, and understanding between all members of our community.

We believe that by helping asylum seekers and refugees integrate into Scottish life, we can also enrich the fabric of our city. These individuals bring with them incredible strength, resilience, and a wealth of cultural diversity that can strengthen Glasgow as a whole.

What are our aims?

We ask the people of Glasgow to join us in supporting these efforts. Whether it’s through volunteering your time, donating essential items, or simply extending a hand of friendship, your support can make a profound difference in someone’s life.

Many of these individuals have faced unimaginable challenges, but with the right support, they have the potential to thrive and contribute meaningfully to our society.

Let’s work together to build a brighter, more inclusive Glasgow — one where everyone has the opportunity to live with dignity and hope.

Please help us continue this important work by supporting the North Glasgow Integration Network in any way you can.

Together, we can create a community that celebrates diversity, resilience, and unity.

Empowering

Through creative and educational activities like English lessons, drama, yoga, and art, we empower adults and children to build confidence and skills. At the North Glasgow Integration Network, we offer a welcoming space to combat isolation and support people in rebuilding their lives with dignity and independence.

Influencing

We try to foster understanding and empathy towards refugees and immigrants by bringing communities together through events and activities. We encourage Glaswegians to see these individuals as valued members of our society. This promotes a more inclusive and respectful community for all.

Changing

We aim to change perceptions of immigrants and refugees in Glasgow by fostering connections and breaking stereotypes. Through our activities, we’re challenging misconceptiona, highlighting positive contributions and encouraging a more inclusive view of these groups as vital members of our community.

“Thank you for all the activities, all the lessons, and the assistance. We have really benefited from it, otherwise we would have been very upset at home. Thank you very much.”
