Get Involved with NGIN

Since NGIN’s inception, volunteering has been essential to the planning, development, support, delivery, and growth of the organisation. Would you like to help us?

Our volunteers are the backbone of North Glasgow Integration Network, and we offer a variety of opportunities to get involved, from ESOL teaching and community fundraising to governance, translation, interpretation, and much more.

Volunteering with NGIN is not only a way to support asylum seekers and refugees, but it’s also an incredibly rewarding experience for those who get involved. Many of our volunteers express a deep sense of achievement, knowing that they are making a real difference in people’s lives. They often share how their involvement has improved their own sense of well-being, bringing a feeling of fulfilment and purpose. By helping others, they feel more connected to their community and take pride in the positive impact they’re having.

Our volunteers have told us how rewarding it is to witness the progress of those they support, from helping someone learn a new language to simply offering a friendly face at a community event. The work they do not only changes the lives of those they assist but also strengthens the social fabric of our local area.

If you want to be part of something meaningful and make a lasting contribution to your community there’s a place for you at NGIN.

If you are interested in volunteering with North Glasgow Integration Network, please email contact.ngin@gmail.com and include in the subject line the area you would like to support. We look forward to welcoming you to our team!

“I am thankful for the sessions; they are very helpful, and we really enjoy coming. I want to thank you for these events and sessions.’ ”
